About Me

I have been working as a research scientist for 12 years (2008-2020) in four different private and public academic research institutes. Since 2020, I have joined industry for a permanent position as a R&D  scientist in Food Safety. I am particularly devoted to science communication, both for other scientists and for the general public.

My research focus:

Academic: Unraveling the mysteries behind hosts-pathogens interactions using insects / toxinogenic bacteria and humans / pathogenic parasites.

Industry: Developing new diagnostic tools for improving food safety.

​

Pluridisciplinary   (from biochemistry to multi-omics),
Multiscale              (from atoms to populations),
Collaborative         (local, national & international).
